The LBJ Dinner (President Lyndon Baines Johnson Dinner) hosted by The Lafayette County Democratic Party will be held at the Belmont Convention Center, 103 W. Mound View Ave., Belmont, Thursday, May 8 at 5 p.m. The keynote speaker John Nichols, is a national affairs correspondent, associate editor and author of more than a dozen books including the New York Times bestseller “It’s OK to be Angry About Capitalism.” Nichols offers a compelling look into the presidency of LBJ, from the Civil Rights Act to healthcare reform.
