|Big Radio News| The City of Beloit is hosting a Book Drive Saturday. The event is being held during the indoor Beloit Farmers’ Market from 9am to noon. Beloit’s Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says the book drive is part of the city’s waste reduction initiative. Lock encourages the public to bring their gently used books. Those materials will be distributed to the free little libraries downtown. The city is especially seeking donations of children’s books, including picture books, young adult novels and graphic novels.
