An area Master Cheesemaker is getting ready to compete in 2025 United States Championship Cheese Contest.
Steve Stettler at Decatur Dairy in Brodhead says he has been entering the contest since 1981. He says they have had a lot of success in the contest, winning in every class they have entered somewhere along the line, however, a bit of luck is needed to win. Stettler makes it clear, Wisconsin has the best cheese. The United States Championship Cheese Contest will be held March 4th through the 6th in Green Bay.
