A Beloit man is accused of slapping his granddaughter and enticing a teenager. According to a criminal complaint, an officer was called out February 1st to a home in the area of Adams Street and Highland Avenue in Beloit. The granddaughter of 68-year-old Kenneth Eugene Sutherland Senior says he got upset with her and her friends for making too much noise.
When her father got home, the granddaughter got into an argument with him. Sutherland then got involved and slapped his granddaughter in the face twice. The best friend of the granddaughter also reported that Sutherland exposed himself to her, enticed her for sex and touched her inappropriately. Sutherland is charged with child enticement and physical abuse of a child. His bond was set at 75-hundred dollars.
