Constituents will have a chance to dial in with U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil next week.
The Republican from Janesville will have a telephone town hall listening session starting at 4:45 p.m. Monday.
The signup form for the event is online at Steil.house.gov/live.
It’ll be the second telephone town hall Steil is hosting in as many months. His last in-person listening sessions in the First District came on Jan. 10, 10 days before President Donald Trump was inaugurated for his second term.
Since then, polling averages have shown the president losing ground in overall job approval and in approval of his handling of the economy, trade and even immigration.
A local group outspoken in its dissatisfaction with Trump and Steil hosted an “empty chair” town hall last week and sent a recording of the event to Steil’s office.
