A person delivering newspapers calls 911 early Friday morning after observing flames inside a home on Milton’s near west side.
Lakeside Fire Rescue Chief Randy Pickering says there was a car in the driveway and concerns that someone was home.
Pickering says first responders were on scene within minutes and made entry into the home where they found one person deceased.
Lakeside Fire Rescue, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, and Milton Police are investigating.
