An Internet Crimes Against Children investigation results in a Green County arrest.
Around 9:15 Friday morning, the Green County Sheriff’s Office detectives and deputies and the state Department of Justice executed a search warrant in the 900 block of James Court in the town of Decatur.
The investigation started with a cybertip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The investigation into the cybertip identified media depicting child pornography. As a result of the investigation, Philip McManus, 74, of Brodhead was booked into the Green County Jail on five counts of possession of child pornography.
