SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Janesville is launching another round of its Mini Grant program in Rock County.
SSM Regional Director Of Community Health Megan Timm says Janesville Mobilizing for Change, Legal Action, and NeighborWorks Blackhawk Region are receiving a combined 18-thousand-dollars in order to help improve the health of Rock County residents. All local organizations were chosen for their efforts to meet the needs of individuals. She says the purpose of the program is to support their community partners in order to address mental health and housing, the two highest-rated priority areas based on a community assessment.
