The Grand Avenue Bridge in Beloit will be closed for next couple of months beginning Tuesday, April 22.
City Engineer Scot Prindiville says the closure will be in place until the Riverwalk expansion is completed in June. The bridge will be closed from State Street to the west end of the bridge. The bridge itself will be upgraded.
Residents are asked to take alternate bridges to get their your destination.
