JUNIOR COLLEGE GOLF
On Day 1 of the Illinois Valley Junior College Golf Invitational
in LaSalle, the Highland Cougars shot a team score of
30 over par 318, which puts them in a tie of 8th place out of
15 teams. Parkland Community College from Champaign
leads the field at 10 over 298. Low for Highland was
Francisco Robineau (ROB – ih – no) who fired a 5-over par
77 and is tied for 17th place individually. The second and
final round of the tournament will be played today.
