A 26-year-old Janesville woman who tried to take an officer’s taser while a police dog was biting her takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.

According to online court records, Krista Eash pleaded guilty Wednesday to resisting an officer – substantial bodily harm, attempting to disarm a peace officer and felony bail jumping. Additional charges of battery to a law enforcement officer and four counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record.

According to the criminal complaint, a Janesville police officer was trying to arrest Eash for five active felony warrants when the fight ensued.

Janesville police dog Viktos latched onto Eash’s right butt cheek, but she continued to resist arrest. When the officer got out her taser, Eash tried grabbing it and rolling over. She eventually bit the officer.

Eash was taken into custody after other officers arrived and tased her.

Eash’s sentencing is set for June 19.
