Police have arrested three people in the investigation of a Sunday shooting death in Evansville.

Rock County sheriff’s authorities have not identified the person killed, but they say three Evansville residents have been arrested: Hunter Drefahl, 26; Alyssa Ahrens, 20; and William Drefahl, 44.

Ahrens and Hunter Drefahl are charged with contributing to delinquency of a minor causing death. They also face charges of possession of child pornography, sexually exploiting a child, and child enticement, along with second-degree sexual assault of a child. Ahrens is also charged with possession of methamphetamine.

William Drefahl is charged with probation violation. The three are held at the Rock County Jail. The sheriff’s office expects them to appear in court either Tuesday or Wednesday. Big Radio has requested the charging documents for the three.

It’s not clear if the pornography and sex assaults are tied to the shooting death case. The sheriff’s office says it is still investigating.

Police were called to the 300 block of South Madison Street at about 9 a.m. Sunday. They say they found a person with a gunshot injury. They later died at a hospital.

An Evansville family has started a GoFundMe account to cover funeral costs for 14-year-old Florencia Henthorn, who the GoFundMe page says died from gun violence on Sunday. Again, authorities have yet to officially identify the victim who died in the investigation into Ahrens and the Drefahls.
