The town of Beloit is closing Creedy Road from State Highway 213 to Barnum Road until further notice.
Public Works Director Joe Rose says a State Department Transportation inspection of the bridge on that stretch found it deficient.
Rose says the bridge itself is more like a large culvert.
Three other Rock County bridges were apparently also flagged for safety concerns.
