Voters in the Parkview School District reject a two-year $1.5 million operational referendum.
It’s the fourth time in a row district voters have rejected referendums.
District Administrator Wayne Anderson said in January the money would have gone toward operational expenses and educational programming, which includes increasing wages for all staff.
Anderson said the district also had to cut staff due to the last three failed referendums, and they would have liked to bring some of them back including an interventionist and a counselor at the elementary level.
