A pilot in uninjured following a bit of a rough landing with his single-engine plane at the Fort Atkinson Municipal Airport.
The Fort Atkinson Fire Department says first responders were dispatched to the incident in Jefferson County just before 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigation determined that the pilot was attempting to land when wind conditions caused the aircraft to veer off the runway into a grass area west of the landing strip.
The aircraft remained upright throughout the entire incident and sustained only minor damage to the front tire cover.
Airport operations were not disrupted.
