Local letter carries show their concern for the future of the U.S. Postal Service under the Trump administration.
National Association of Letter Carriers branch 572 President Sherrie Dorsey says if the post office is privatized, rural customers may end up paying more for a service they currently receive at no extra charge – free daily deliveries.
Dorsey says she represents United State Postal Service workers in Janesville, Edgerton, Milton, Elkhorn, Delavan, and Brodhead.
Dorsey says union members will be rallying outside the Old Towne Mall starting at 5:00 p.m. Thursday before marching to Lower Courthouse Park for a demonstration.
