Craig High students attending SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference

Three students from Craig High School in Janesville will be participating in the 52nd annual SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference.

Tech Ed Teacher Tim Thieding says the students will be competing in engineering against students from around Wisconsin. More than 1,700 middle, high school and college students will be taking part in dozens of competitions.

Thieding says the conference helps prepare students for a number of future professions. He says it also gives those involved an opportunity to network and learn different skills. The conference will be held April 1 and 2 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
