Community Action and Family Services are unveiling the new Next Steps Family Resilience Center in Beloit. An open house was held Thursday night at the center located in the former Royce Elementary School at 825 Liberty Avenue. Executive Director of Community Action of Rock and Walworth Counties Marc Perry says the center serves multiple purposes, including being the home for 18 single-parent families. The facility will also house childcare in the form of the Community Kids Stepping Stones Academy. Operations begin at the Next Steps Family Resilience Center on April 1st, with the childcare facility opening April 7th. Families will move in May 1st.
