A 25-year-old Janesville man who convinced a 16-year-old girl he worked with at Subway to send him nude photos take a plea deal in Rock County Court.
According to online court records, Michael Riggs plead guilty Wednesday to possession of an intimate representation of a person less than 18 years old, and no contest to two counts of disorderly conduct and contributing to the delinquency of a child.
Judge Barbara McCrory withheld her finding of guilt on the first charge as part of a felony hold open agreement, but found Riggs guilty of the later three charges. He was sentenced to serve three years of probation.
According to the criminal complaint, last August the teenager’s mother contacted Janesville Police to report she had found suggestive messages and photos were being sent between her child and Riggs.
Police confiscated the girl’s phone and found that she had sent nude photos to Riggs and that he knew she was less than 18.
When officers arrested Riggs they found photos of the girl on his phone.
