Early and in-person absentee voting is underway for the 2025 spring election.

Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson says early voting hours for every municipality in the county are posted on the clerk’s office website. The last day for in-person absentee voting is March 28, which is the Friday before the April 1 election day.

She also says the first batch of ballots requested by mail went out last week. Voters can still request a mailed ballot via MyVote.WI.gov, and Tollefson recommends allowing at least a week for delivery both ways.

Voters may also take their own ballots they receive in the mail and deliver them to their municipal clerk’s offices themselves.

Tollefson expects high turnout for the election, which features races for state Supreme Court and state superintendent of public instruction.

Municipal and school board elections will also be on the ballot all across the county, as will referendums in the Beloit, Brodhead, Whitewater and Parkview school districts.
