A Janesville woman is pleading guilty to four counts of homicide by vehicle in a deadly crash last year in Rock County.
Prosecutors say on April 13th, 2024, Boedecker was driving a group home’s van when she ran a stop sign in Lima township and setoff a “chain reaction” crash with two other vehicles. Four people were killed and four others were injured in the wreck. Boedecker wasn’t authorized to drive that type of vehicle, and she had a “vape” cartridge that appeared to contain THC. She was charged last August after test results showed she had THC in her system at the time of the crash.
Boedecker entered the guilty plea this week and faces up to 25 years in the prison for each offense. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 27th.
