A 25-year-old Beloit man who was sentenced to more than 22 years in federal prison last month for producing child pornography takes a plea deal on his Rock County charges.
According to online court records, Misael Dominguez Adorno plead guilty Tuesday morning to a single count of possession of child pornography. Rock County Judge Jeffrey Kuglitsch dismissed but read into the record two additional counts of possession of child pornography.
He was sentenced to three years in prison which he will serve concurrent to his federal sentence.
Beloit police obtained a search warrant for Dominguez Adorno’s home in late 2022 after receiving a cyber tip that somebody there was uploading sexually explicit images of children to the Internet. They seized numerous electronic devices that contained videos of the man engaged in sexual activity with several minors who police were able to identify.
