A 72-year-old convicted pedophile from Janesville remains free on a $10,000 cash bond while he awaits sentencing in May.

According to online court records, Timothy Sporer plead guilty Monday morning to second-degree sexual assault of a child and child enticement in two separate cases. Rock County Judge Jeffrey Kuglitsch dismissed but read into the record additional charges of exposing genitals to a child and two counts of exposing a child to harmful material.

In July of 2022 Sporer was charged in connection to incidents that happened at his home with a 14-year-old that he worked with at Timz Toyz and Toolz.

In June of last year, the victim’s brother, who was 12 at the time of the incident, disclosed that Sporer showed him child pornography of his own sibling and exposed himself around the same time his brother was sexually assaulted.

Sporer faces up to 65 years in prison at sentencing on May 9th.
