The Janesville Recreation Division is giving young children a way to prepare for organized sports. Recreation Programmer Elaena Noffsinger says Start Smart Sports Development is a nationwide program for youth ages 3 to 5 to learn about sports without the fear of competition. Noffsinger says recreational sports provide kids with valuable opportunities. She believes it is important to let your child dabble in different sports. Classes will be held on Wednesdays from March 5th to April 16th.
Interested parents and guardians may register for the program online on the City’s website or in person at the Recreation Division office in City Hall by February 28th.
