Janesville man who shot his ex-girlfriend to death after he learned she was pregnant again will be 73 when he is eligible to be released from prison.

23-year-old Logan Barclay plead guilty in Rock County Court in November to a single count of first-degree intentional homicide as domestic abuse.

According to the criminal complaint, Barclay went on a walk with the victim, 22-year-old Kiersten Hansen, along the Peace Trail in Janesville the night of April 16th, and then shot her in the stomach over an argument about her being pregnant again. The two shared one other child together that his parents had custody of.

In Rock County Court Tuesday morning Judge Jeffrey Kuglitsch sentenced Barclay to life in the Wisconsin State prison system but found that he would be eligible for supervised release after serving 50 years.
