Several people suffer injuries during a residential fire in the 1900 block of Nelson Avenue in Beloit. A fire department news release reports the first crews to arrive shortly after 7:00 a.m. Thursday found the home engulfed in flames. Everyone had escaped the home, but four needed to be taken to the hospital. The Red Cross has been called in to assist the family. Officials say the home is likely a total loss. The cause is still under investigation.
