A 36-year-old Beloit man arrested after a standoff with police in September of 2024 in the 2500 block of Riverside Drive takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
According to online court records, last week Cale Tinder plead guilty to failure to comply with officers and no contest to misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Judge Jeffrey Kuglitsh withheld his finding of guilt on the first charge are part of a felony hold open agreement, but found him guilty of disorderly conduct. Tinder was sentenced to serve two years of probation.
Town of Beloit police responded to a disturbance shortly after 2:00 a.m. on September 2nd where the suspect reportedly threatened a woman with a firearm.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says the woman was able to leave the residence prior to the arrival of law enforcement, but a juvenile female remained. Sheriff’s officials say after multiple hours, Tinder exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.
The girl was also released without injury.
