One person is dead, after an apparent shooting in the Town of Beloit. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1900 block of Wisconsin Avenue shortly before 4:00 p.m. Monday. A news release says the subject was later pronounced dead at the scene. The Rock County Sheriff’s Detective Bureau is helping investigate.
