A 41-year-old Beloit woman is under arrest for drunken driving for the fifth time after being stopped by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office for driving erratically Sunday afternoon.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says deputies received numerous complaints about a Honda Odyssey in the area of East Highway 59 near East Harbor Drive around 5:30 p.m.
A deputy stopped the vehicle, and the driver, Sommer Sorenson displayed signs of impairment. Her vehicle also had recent minor damage.
After Sorenson refused to perform field sobriety tests, she was taken into custody on suspicion of operating while intoxicated, fifth offense, and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
According to online court records, Sorenson has several open cases for battery and disorderly conduct as domestic abuse.
