Police say a town of Geneva woman is in custody after she stabbed a man and left him with severe injuries Thursday in the town of Geneva.

Town of Geneva police say the department’s officers and Walworth County sheriff’s deputies arrested 59-year-old Roxanne R. Skinner on suspicion she stabbed a man shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Police got called to Skinner’s residence at 3297 West Iris Road for reports a woman had stabbed a man.

Police haven’t identified the man or given details in the stabbing, but they arrested Skinner on tentative charges of recklessly endangering safety, which is a felony.

Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital to treat stab injuries authorities say were “severe.”
Skinner was in Walworth County Jail on Friday, awaiting a court hearing.

It’s the second violent attack police have reported in the town of Geneva in the last couple of weeks.

On Jan. 20, police arrested a town of Geneva man on suspicion he’d shot and killed his 8-year-old son.
