A local civics group announces spring election candidate forums.
The Rock County Civics Academy says it will conduct four events to help the public meet the candidates for Janesville City Council and the Janesville School Board.
Three city council forums are planned, one at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at UW-Whitewater at Rock County; another at noon Monday, Feb. 24, at Rotary Botanical Gardens; and the third at 7 a.m. Thursday, March 6, also at Rotary Gardens.
The forum with school board candidates will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Hedberg Public Library.
