A vacant building on South Beloit’s main thoroughfare gets new life, opening as the City’s second marijuana dispensary Friday.

City Administrator Sonya Hoppes says after the City Council paved the way for another dispensary to open last year, CloudHaven announced plans to reuse the building at 1322 Garnder Street.

Hoppes says unlike Sunnyside, CloudHaven will not be receiving a tax rebate from the City.

CloudHaven is holding a grand opening celebration Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
