Janesville Water Utility workers are kept busy Monday dealing with six water main breaks around town.
Water Utility Superintendent Craig Thiesenhusen says if that’s not a record, it’s definitely close.
Thiesenhusen says city crews go by and salt the area and work to remove any ice that is left over after the water utility finishes fixing the main.
The mercury dipped to -15 with wind chill Monday. It’s expected to be even colder Tuesday.
