Hedberg Public Library hooks a Madison-based author to headline this year’s Book Fest.

Maggie Ginsberg, author of the award-winning 2022 novel “Still True,” will be the festival’s keynote author and master course instructor.

An author reception with Ginsberg will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 20th. Book Fest will be the next day at the library and will include writing workshops and an author fair where writers can promote, sell and sign copies of their works.

The reception, writing workshops and the author fair are free to attend.

The Book Fest committee is accepting workshop proposals through February 10th for writers interested in conducting a writing course. Applications to host a table at the author fair are open through March 7. That paperwork is available on the library’s website.
