After conducting a community survey and going back to the drawing board, the Parkview School District asks voters to approve an operational referendum for the fourth time in a row.
During a special meeting Monday night, the School Board voted unanimously to put a two-year $750,000 operational referendum on the April 1st ballot.
Anderson says the money would go toward operational expenses and educational programming, which includes increasing wages for all staff.
Anderson says the district has also had to cut staff due to the last three failed referendums, and they’d like to bring some of them back including an interventionist and a counselor at the elementary level.
