
A Beloit teenager who was charged in connection with an April non-fatal shooting has his case dismissed two days after being waived back into juvenile court.
16-year-old Donterion Pierce had been charged in Rock County court with two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of discharging a firearm from a vehicle towards a person, and possession of dangerous weapon by a person under 18.
According to the criminal complaint, Pierce fired at two victims from a vehicle as they walked home from school on April 10th, with one of the bullets striking a victim’s foot.
On April 30th Pierce made his initial appearance before Rock County Judge Michael Haakenson where he was waived into adult court.
Last week Judge Ashley Morse waived Pierce back into juvenile court at at an appearance the next day his case was dismissed and ordered sealed.
Up until his case was dismissed last week, Pierce was being held at the Rock County Youth Services Center on a $150,000 cash bond.
