A 19-year-old from Beloit who was out on bail after being accused of burglarizing a vacant school when he was accused of child sexual assault, takes a plea deal in Rock County Court
Haiden Wescott was originally charged in Rock County Court with second degree sexual assault of a child and felony bail jumping in addition to burglary.
According to a criminal complaint, the victim met Wescott when he skateboarded past her house on June 10th. Wescott later gave the girl a cell phone so they could communicate.
The victim reported that she was at a friend’s house when they snuck Wescott through the window. Wescott is accused of kissing and groping the girl as she repeatedly asked him to stop.
In Rock County Court Tuesday morning, Wescott plead guilty to burglary and no contest to fourth degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct.
Judge Karl Hanson withheld his finding of guilt on the burglary charge but found Westcott guilty of the other two charges. He was sentenced to a total of three years of probation.
